proxy will be having an operation today. wish her well, the beautiful creature.

I wish her very well. Is this the operation she's been waiting her whole life for? If so, congrats to you and her!

she may come back a different cat...but in the end i just want her to be happy & healthy, so we'll see.
she'll probably still be a snotty bitch tho, god love her.

the surgery went well, & they're bathing her to boot.
haven't done that in a while, the poor slightly yellowed thing.
but she's going to have to wear an "elizabethan collar", coyly referred to by vet techs as the "e-collar", otherwise known as the lampshade thing, for a week.
her majesty will not be pleased.
if all goes well--that is, she doesn't develop a fever or turn orange in the night--she'll be home tomorrow, eating my african violets.
Hi you! I have been tardy in not coming over to your place for a visit. I will be back. There are lots of interesting things that I would like to pick up and examine more closely (with your permission, of course) and I hope your gorgeous kitty is now fully recovered.

The sadistic part of me wants to see pictures of Proxy in lampshade....
