Lilacs like that could go a long way towards increasing happiness!

I also wish you much happiness, and hopefully it comes soon and comes in waves!

dig you princess leia hair.
now that i've typed something about princess leia on the internet, i can load this computer into my little red wagon, take it down to the river, toss it in and focus on regaining my self-respect.

gatsby: i've been wearing my hair like that since i as about 3 (whenever it's been long enough, of course, which has been most of my life, except for that brief period following the 4 am, several bottles of wine decision to chop it all off in my bathroom in Indiana).

don't know if it came from Leia when my mother did it for me. maybe. it suits me though, except during star warsy times like the present when i get a lot of odd comments because it's on the mind of the public.

anne: sometimes the fish must swim through darker waters.

carl v: i had some sort of allergic reaction with my contact lens & it swelled shut. more on that later.

transience: thank you, compliments always make me feel better (i'm a sucker for flattery).

tesco: i've made the occasional appearance; i like to make it a rare-ish kinda thing so that it's always a pleasant surprise when i show up.

left sock: i can always smile but there are times when you mean it more, as i'm sure you know.

phylos: me too.

hannibal: i'm trying to teach oldben how to take flattering photos of me with my digital. i think i'ts working.
