not a whole lot to say right now as this article has taken all the words and some of the hope right out of me as i realize that it is still 2005 and we have till 2008 with this bastard.
let me clarify: nothing in this article comes as a surprise, but it's kinda rough seeing it all in one place and put so succinctly.

however he's an easy target, i'd imagine there are a lot worse people we could have in charge - like cheney for example or dan quayle

if I was looking for someone to oversee disaster preparedness, who else would I choose but a washed-up horse-fancier? you can hardly blame GW for blatant cronyism. this is FAITH-BASED disaster preparedness.

(when you live out here you can make the mistake of assuming everyone knows you're not a wingnut... I have to remind myself, -you can't use sarcasm in blog comments- because there are people out there who say that crap and mean it...)

and as you pointed out on the tourist - when you have scary statues and ufo lighting trying to vie for your obedience and your will - it's difficult for anything else to brainwash you - for an example see JTHM
