i am addicted to the fish

an update on, well, everything is even now in the works, but i've gone through most of a bottle of really good wine in celebration and i have never realized how much i yearn for certain data input. currently my brain craves serial experiments lain and the only versions i have are subtitled in swedish or englishized (dubbed). despite my desire to see lain, there is no way i will let those foolish people who think that dubbing anime is a good thing ruin the best mind-fuck i have ever seen. i saw like water for chocolate dubbed and never recovered.

(mysfit's note of sober import: if you like cyberpunk fiction like Gibson's Neuromancer or Stephenson's SnowCrash, you'll love serial experiments lain - just beware of the dvd subtitles, they suck.)
