this fish is drunk fish

so this is it, huh? life without jenn? there are days when i'm not sure if i am up to it. it's like missing an essential part of you. one that infuriated you, made you elated, destroyed you to help you rebuild again... in other words was all the things i need and she's just not...

tonight, after six months i am angry, i am reaching out to touch..., i am still.

i plan to drink... well i am drinking lots of wine. you'd be proud of me lov, you found "cheep red wine" with it's brown paper label - i found "house wine" with cheep white and black label. i drink in honor of my dearest friend, my sparing partner, my co-collaborator and well, just you, jenn.

i miss you darlink.

love,
mysfit

p.s. i'm your huckleberry

Merry Christmas sure isn't appropriate but I hope you know that you have all, including our lost fish, been in my thoughts over this holiday season.

This really is time for a Sandman quoatation.

To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the Devil his due.

From Hob Gadling to all of us, and may our bottles of cheap red wine always sparkle and taste fine, if a little sweeter than is probably refined...

Cheers. :)

Ahhh Mysfit, she was with us in Montana and had lots of fun raining down hail and snow on us as we gathered by the fire to toast her. She was whistling through the pines and swirling the smoke all around us. She always was such a playful being. Miss her much, my heart reaches out to all of you. She is still hanging around making sure all is well. It will be someday.....

has it been six months? I suppose in six years I'll be thinking, "Has it been six years?" I cant get through a day without her comming up and making me remember something fun or cool, or just absurd even that hapened while she was around. Right now it was the trip to NYC to see Rigoletto. That was just the craziest luck and it was awesome.
*hugs* (for mysfit, for oldben, for Cynthia, John-the biggest little brother i have ever seen, and Bob whom i credit to this day for what little I know about tasting wine)

Just re-read all of this, remembering her, realizing how much we are all hurting. She still is so alive in our minds, thats what makes it so hard to believe she is gone. I read the "old fishies" and think she is still here. I guess maybe because she really is still here just in another "life form". Cyn/o.m.

You're not rambling at all Cynthia, believe me those of us who only 'knew' Jenn from the internet appreciate going through the grieving/healing/remembering process with you.

day-dreaming, one day, about you, girl!

*(a picture of the eye of Horus, not the actual word)

eye* see
scrolls of fine metal foils
rolling out from a machine
printing your icons
like pieces of Pythagoras
...a serum sweetly divined
indeed
like some forgotten wine
rhyming theorems
never looked so good
on transcripts of lucid botany
intricate drawings
so fragile and delicate
shimmering from the insights of your mind
i'd trade you a sea shanty
or an Egyptian pound
for one of your apples
or bundles of grapes
or even one of those
smiles of yours...

miss you, Jenn!!!
love you... think about ya every time i hear a cool song ;) right now i like this song called "soda water" by jess klein (?) and another song by vaya con dios, "don't cry for louie"...

ah, time for more pirating! (Oo - just learned a new geological term : "pirate stream" -- it's a stream that diverts into its own flow into the headwaters of another stream, river, etc. ... searles' raid coming up....)
